Tell me more about Boban - I havent been following SAS so dont really know much about him. They found themselves another Timmy Duncan?? I thought LMA, Leonard, Green and little man Mills was future of SAS.

He played a few seasons in the Euroleague, signed on with Spurs for this season.
He's already 27 years old.
He usually just plays in garbage time (which there's been a bit of in all the blowout wins) but he's fun to watch.
Interesting prospect but would really need to see more time in games against better quality players on the court for a fair assessment.

Bit more insight into why here http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2016/...help-team-scared-of-lebron-lost-cavs-respect/
“Coach Blatt was very hesitant to challenge LeBron James,” Haywood said. “It was one of those situations where, being a rookie coach, and LeBron being bigger than life, it was a little too much for him. I remember we had James Jones [talk] to Coach about how, ‘Hey, you can’t just skip over when LeBron James makes a mistake in the film room.’ Because we all see it.
“And we’re like, ‘Hey, you didn’t say anything about that. You’re going to correct when Matthew Dellavedova‘s not in the right spot. You’re going to say something when Tristan Thompson‘s not in the right spot. Well, we see a fast break and LeBron didn’t get back on defense or there’s a rotation and he’s supposed to be there, and you just keep rolling the film and the whole room is quiet.’ We see that as players. That’s when … as a player, you start to lose respect for a coach.
“Slowly but surely, that respect started chipping away where he would kind of be scared to correct LeBron in film sessions. When he would call every foul for LeBron in practice. Those type of things add up. Guys are like, ‘C’mon man, are you scared of him?’ ”

After that performance against GS, someone had to go, and it wasn't going to be the King.

The problem is, who can they get in to lead this team? maybe Lebron becomes a player-coach. He seems to do everything else, so why not.

They've already signed the assistant coach Tyronn Lue on for 3 years. Apparently has a good relationship with Lebron.

I dunno if I agree with them firing him at this point into the season, if they were going to do it then they should have started fresh.

Should have made a play for Tom Thibodeau. Hard ass coach who isn't afraid to drill players...

Tyrone Lue...seriously...

Yeh that's a given...

Just watching the Warriors/Pacers game and Curry burried a three from half court just after the buzzer to end the first quarter...then did the same at the end of the second which counted. The guy is a freak...

He plays garbage time so I wouldn't read too much into it.
He gets time when we're up by 20 in the 3rd etc
That said I'm still a Boban fan lol.

The Blatt firing is ridiculous, they were 30-11 after making the finals without their 2nd and 3rd options last season. Lebron was trying to get Mark Jackson their his whole time. Anyway they heard boos at home after getting blown out by the Bulls for Tyron Lue's first game.

I agreed with Jeff Van Gundy on the broadcast, the boos were pretty slack when they were only behind by like 14 to a good team. Gasol was shooting the lights out and the Cavs couldn't hit a barn door from the FT line which was basically the reason for the deficit by itself. Only the third game they've lost at home this eason as well.

Game on Tuesday should be good but I wouldn't be reading much into that either, both teams still have to play each other 4 times before the playoffs. I can't see Pop showing his hand too much in a game like this, plus Duncan is already out.
