Spurs will find some way to bottle a 4th spot finish. Arsenal will bottle it as well. It's City's title to lose still. Leicester could really shake it up depending on the next run of fixtures. If they can maintain the 3-point gap or even extend it a little, they'd be well in with a shot given the other clubs around them having to compete against each other.

So this thread has gone very quiet. Has everyone disappeared?

Leicester are STILL up there. Sensational form reversal from last season. Their credentials come down to the next 2 weeks away at the Etihad and Emirates. Come away from that with a buffer of points and you'd be crazy enough to dare to dream the fairytale.

Villa are as good as gone, Sunderland too. Newcastle in trouble but Norwich should take their place.

They've been very lucky with injuries...but terrific performance from them

No doubt they'll be raped and pillaged at the end of the season

I can see Mahrez and Kante attracting plenty of attention from sides in Europe. Honestly think Vardy will stay regardless. How stupid would Marseille feel after they were offered Mahrez and said he wasn't good enough.

Arsenal is back. We knock off Leicester and we're just 2 points from the lead, plus the bonus of at least one of City and Spurs dropping points.

I'd also like a City loss with the table looking like this at the end of the next round:

Leicester 53
Arsenal/Spurs 51
City 47

And about Leicester, they will not need to sell anyone. This isn't 1995 with Blackburn. Leicester have done this organically without going under water with debt, and they'll have huge financial boosts from the combination of the next tv deal AND the champions league.

They'll sell if they get crazy money, enough to buy 2 or 3 good players for the sale of just 1.

They'll have more trouble bringing people in with their wage structures. No one is on huge money at Leicester. Will need a bigger squad competing in CL next year.

It's a great looking top of the table at the moment. Good to see Spurs and LCFC sticking it up the big boys.

And BM Leicester can shred you guys just like they did to city.

Congratulations, you won one is a row

Should be Spurs then Arsenal, 9 goal goal difference between between Spurs and Goons

Wage structures can change when you go from being a borderline relegation team to the champions of England. Especially with the new deal coming into effect.

Point is there will be no financial pressure to sell. Barring a player going on strike (which is unlikely if they've just been crowned champions) they'll have all of them for the duration of their contract. And as they've already signed Vardy they've shown they can pay their top players a fair wage going into the future.

Goal difference is irrelevant because we still have to play Spurs. All we need to do is match them in every other game and beat them in that game.

Its only irrelevant cos Spurs are above Arsenal Twiz. If it were the other way around BM would be shouting from the rooftops about goal difference.

Fact is Spurs and Leicester deserve to be exactly where they are in 1st and 2nd place. I wouldn't be so sure Arsenal could knock them both off anyway.

Over 25 games Arsenal and Spurs have the exact same amount of points. And we have a better record against the top 5. So why are Spurs so much more deserving? It's about expecations. We're on par so we get marked down, they are above their handicap par and so they get praised. But in this season on its own they have not been better than us, and we've been better against the best teams.

you goal difference compared to ours suggests that is absolute bullshit, its not as though its one or two goals

why is it so hard to admit ?

Tottenham have been fantastic this season, i thought they would of done this last year and predicted that they would go close, but after last years disappointment didn't bother, Going to be a very interesting final 13 weeks.
