Should be pushing capacity at parra imo, the amount of empty seats is not really good enough considering the opposition.

I am actually a bit concerned now, the game has been put through the ringer with negative headlines for 18 months now from player indiscretions to refereeing blunders. I now think the NRL has lost a fair few fans of late and thats both rusted on fans and casuals imo. The game is certainly not growing at elite level from every measure i can see

God knows what the ticket prices were for tonights matches given officials would want to milk rivalry matches and god knows why they have put these to matchups on a friday night in sydney

Go back and read my earlier post. IIRC, the contracts for the ICC World Cup prohibit the SCG or SFS being used 24 hours either side of a World Cup game. Thus the SFS would not be available tonight for use.

Play it Perth, 9pm live ko on East coadt, 18k crowd. But that would take planning and we know how good the nrl is at that!

and both will pull around 25k in a western sydney 40k roofed stadium with heavy rail and solid marketing i reckon.
