I am not so sure about Jones at #27 to the Cowboys. Has the size, speed and stats to say he is a first rounder. He has played against lesser opposition. He may go in the first round I believe he is a second rounder.

I get the feeling that if Leonard Williams does fall to us at #4 we will take him and probably trade back in to the first round to grab that WR we need.

We're picking 3rd in the 2nd round so I reckon we maybe able to wrangle something...

what are you most afraid of that your team is either rumored or potentially could do in the first round? also what player do you want to avoid the most?

personally I'm worried that the Panthers will reach for an OT in the first or trade up for a player. just stick pick 25 and go with BPA.

stay away from Todd Gurley(if he falls that far). injured RB? already have Jstew to fill that roll.

My biggest fear is missing out on one of these good recievers.

Maybe we take Leonard Williams and 5 or 6 recievers get taken in the first round and we end up with Crabtree as our No 1 guy.

My biggest fear is reaching and that Marcus Smith II was a Chip Kelly pick and not a Roseman pick.
Apparently Chip wanted Matthews in round 1 last year and Howie had to convince him to take someone else because we could get Matthews in the 2nd. Chip confessed he wanted Taylor Hart in round 3, but Howie convinced him he'd get him in round 5, and did.

So im worried about Chip not understanding value in the draft and reaching.

In terms of player, im worried about Arik Armstead, I dont HATE him as a player, but i dont like him and our front 7 is really strong, we have too many needs at WR, DB and OL to waste a first round pick on a Duck that's not a need.

I find Armstead really interesting... I think at the moment he's more of a projection pick than anything...

Based on his measurables,.. He hits the mark in nearly every aspect... But you look at his production and you scratch your head.

Id be happy using an early 2nd on him...

Gotta say College Football Focus is a really good site for those looking to get good information on prospects, all gradings are based on watching every play that player played in as opposed to many that just base their evaluations from highlights plays.

Even teams are approaching CFF as potential suitors

I've spent a lot of time (way too much according to my wife haha) watching draft breakdown videos on over 200 prospects. The draft breakdown videos are great as they show every play a player was involved in during a game, not just the highlights. Really gives you a much better idea of what kind of prospect they are.

Anyway, here is my final top 50 list:

1. WR Amari Cooper, Alabama
2. OG Brandon Scherff, Iowa
3. OG La’el Collins, LSU
4. RB Todd Gurley, Georgia
5. DL Danny Shelton, Washington
6. WR Kevin White, West Virginia
7. CB Marcus Peters, Washington
8. EDGE Owamagbe Odighizuwa, UCLA
9. DL Leonard Williams, USC
10. EDGE Vic Beasley, Clemson
11. QB Jameis Winston, Florida State
12. OT Jake Fisher, Oregon
13. OT Andrus Peat, Stanford
14. EDGE Dante Fowler, Florida
15. WR DeVante Parker, Louisville
16. OC Cameron Erving, Florida State
17. OT D.J. Humphries, Florida
18. WR Breshad Perriman, Central Florida
19. DL Henry Anderson, Stanford
20. DL Malcom Brown, Texas
21. CB Kevin Johnson, Wake Forest
22. QB Marcus Mariota, Oregon State
23. OT Cedric Ogbuehi, Texas A&M
24. WR Dorial Green-Beckham, Oklahoma
25. WR Nelson Agholor, USC
26. DL Jordan Phillips, Oklahoma
27. Non-Rush LB Eric Kendricks, UCLA
28. EDGE Randy Gregory, Nebraska
29. RB Tevin Coleman, Indiana
30. RB Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin
31. OT Ereck Flowers, Miami

I'm higher on Shelton, Peters, Odighizuwa, Anderson, Coleman and Ogbuehi than most

I'm lower on Williams, Fowler, Waynes, Collins, and Ray than most

I mean lets talk about Leonard Williams.

When you guys watch his game film do you see a Suh/McCoy type talent?

I certainly don't, I see a guy who flashes big plays and uses his hands pretty well, but he's not a productive pass rusher, he plays high at times and I'm not sure what his best position is.

I think he has the potential to be a good-great DT but he's certainly not there at the moment. I wouldn't put him ahead of Richard Seymour as a prospect, he's nowhere near that strong coming out of college

Just watched Kevin White on First Take...

He just showed that Amari Cooper is a class above him both on and off the field....

Quick and easy draft game to play and score.

Name all the players to go in the first round, you can pick 40 players all up, no particular order or anything, just 40 names and see how many you can get.
