Jarryd Hayne will score a TD this weekend to overshadow this NRL GF just to spite all Queenslanders,no media time for these two teams.

Truly a historic moment in Rugby League history. Forgetting all the parochialism and NSW/Qld rivalry, this is a wonderful moment for the game and I can't wait to be there.

Brisbane are an awesome side. They play a slightly unusual but highly entertaining style behind an underrated forward pack. Bennett is the greatest coach in history, and this team has responded brilliantly to his return. I've really enjoyed watching Hunt and Milford combine and some of their plays have been stunning. Particularly that inside cutout ball on Friday that sent Mccullough over, that was a scorcher.

Regardless, I favour our chances against them. In actual fact I am convinced we are a better football team. Not wishing to disrespect Brisbane, but if we play with the same intensity and purpose of the last two matches we will be holding the trophy aloft next Sunday night.

Two main reasons stand out. Firstly I believe the hunger may be greater from the mix of players we have. Many Brisbane players have tasted success in the past and those that have not are very early in their careers. Secondly I am confident our forward pack will dominate the contest. Not doubting the willingness of Brisbane, but we have five brutal middle forwards who are making yardage with ease.

The Hodges distraction is not ideal for the Broncos either. I think he will be successful in challenging the decision but it is an obstacle that NQ will not have to face.

Here's to a grand occasion and an almighty contest. NQ 26-14.

Cant see Brisbane winning this one, Just don't have the firepower to perform in a GF. Got extremely lucky in the first final against these merkins cant see it repeating.

Cowboys comfortably 13 +

Wonder how Cowboys will fare with all that jet lag travel fatigue in one short week turnaround. Broncos have a more comfortable preparation with having an extra day rest than Cowboys.

Fatigue was supposed to get Cows against Sharks and Storm as well, Cows are probably one of the fittest teams in the NRL.

Indeed they are fit, but their forwards looked a bit gassed when Storm was building momentum at one stage in the first half. Luckily Storm play that slow it down wrestling game. Wonder how Cows will cope in a fast game.

It's still a full weeks turnaround for both teams now. Short of any niggling injuries, I think the benefit of the week off has mostly evaporated now.
