It's been said that playing Friday nghts puts a lot of families off becoming Broncos ticketed members?

Fair enough but Broncos supporters can still be on supporter memberships or a 3 game membership (if they have that).

3 game memberships in my opinion are good for a family.

Listen I hate the Broncos more than life itself.

But to judge membership totals in December is lunacy. Even with the boost of Souths first premiership in 2 generations history suggests that Brisbane will out pace everyone come the new year.

For Souths the real story is how do they hold onto the Band waggoners.

Souths real question is how do they improve their 23% attendance rate.

Unfortunately it was a game wide trend this year and a lot of clubs dropped to below 50% but Souths have one of the worst attendance rates in the league at 23%.

What an idiotic, completely stupid and uneducated comment.

Brisbane, Bulldogs followed by Souths in 3rd have highest home ground attendances. Just read the Big League.

Souths have the most supporters that travel away too. Everyone knows that.

Souths might have slightly dropped in attendances compared to 2013 but we had pretty much all Friday and Monday games. Only 1 Saturday 7:30 game at home at ANZ and only 1 Sunday 2pm game at ANZ.

Souths had no 5:30 game either.

Roosters had quite a few 7:30 games on Saturday and a 5:30 game on Saturday. Still couldn't get crowds.

What are the other teams attendance rates?

Not sure, I know the Roosters were at 42% this year which was a drop from 51%. But outside of that I couldn't give you any more specific numbers.

Would be interesting to see where every club is at.

Souths members are loyal but we'd love to have a couple of 7:30 games and a 5:30 at ANZ.

Would be a decent crowd turn up.

In saying that Souths still get good crowds on Friday nights compared to Roosters.

Anyway you could say Souths have a lot of supporter or 3 game members. At least they sign up and support the club.

15 other clubs supporters should do the same. But your mob RWB are known as lazy, no show, pub, couch potato, Waratahs and Swans supporters etc....... Not committed to become members and support the game of Rugby League.

What matters is signing up to your club RWB.

Attendance rates should be low in NRL because fans who can't attend should be supporter members.

The silly NRL draw stops fans from attending games.

Also re souths attendances you'd have to throw in the members in other cities that attend one off games. For example they may have 3-4000 WA members who only attended the Perth game. It's hard to extrapolate a clear % of member to attendance when clubs have member ships and play "home" games in other cities.

These aren't my numbers these are NRL numbers, of course these things would be considered.

I would like to see season ticket holder numbers more so then member numbers.

These numbers shouldn't be overly surprising either, we already know the amazing growth in memberships hasn't had a real affect on crowd numbers yet.

That's because of the draw and it doesn't suit a lot of people.

I don't expect crowd numbers to grow much in the next few years even though membership numbers keep on climbing.

Would be interesting to see the break down in full Season, part season, one off, non ticketed memberships. I remember seeing something from Broncos last year on facebook that showed the vast majority of their members were Non ticketed and 3 game members.

Some Sunday afternoon home matches would help........but we all know that won't be happening.

Would be interesting to see just how many of our members hold a full season ticketed membership.

If anything you've just highlighted why Souths are number 1 in memberships. Whether people show up or not, whenever games are scheduled, whatever - we sign up as members.
