Probably like other parts of the country, 1st generation fans will choose the Perth team as their second club keeping their first club allegiances, their kids will be born and bred pirates fans hopefully.
Some will switch and have only become Souths members as they are the only club that has consistently shown support to growing the game in wa.

Well done eels, for a club that has been mediocre on the field they are killing it in memberships. If they get some success they will join Souths and bulldogs in the big 3 Sydney clubs.

Souths are so far ahead of the rest of Sydney it's no contest. Congrats on their marketing and membership initiatives.
