Well it's the Eels turn to look good this week, possibly the weakest and most inept centre pairing we have had in WT history....JT at his no idea best with this selection pairing.

I really like how we are not signing any new centres for 2016. We have so much experienced depth. Like there is Simona. He is gun and coming along nicely. then theres.....wait....umm...well theres Lawrence but he is back row now. Umm we could use Nofa. Really good winger but lets just play him at centre...wait he's injured. Hmmm I guess centre is very important so lets just put some under 20s players here.

Sweet, now that that is settled, I feel even better that we aren't bringing in any new centres. Yeah...really happy now.

So true yet every team is signing players for 2016 - but not us. Will be more of the same for the next few years.

I can hear the commentators now....Takarangi to Radradra for a beautiful try. Trouble is I can hear it 3 or 4 times!!!!

Milone at centre , what a joke was poor last week in NSW cup
I'm surprised that they haven't given Keith Lulia a run in the centres, purely based on his experience but then thought.

he isn't 1st grade standard is he?
¡ but then why give 'wittyfan' a go in the 6?

At lease Taylor is sticking to his 'youth' sorry, "inexperience" policy.

I will be very surprised if parra don't win this game comfortably.

This tigers side is littered with weaknesses.

They are so pathetic that round 26 can't come soon enough !!

I'm surprised Fine and Akoula haven't had game time this year either.

Also, why not put Lawrence at centre, Halatau in the back row and Cherrington at hooker.

For some unknown reason Akaoula is on the outer. How the f**k Santi, Sironen & Buchanan among others are ahead of Akaoula in the pecking order beggars belief.

As madunit said Cherrington must be @ 9 v parra & Deano in 2nd row.

We may as well forfeit if the team selected is the exact one that takes the field on Monday night.

Mad Unit, the reason is it makes too much sense!!!!

90% of the people who comment on here could make better decisions than Taylor is at the moment. Some of the selections are offensive to me, they pay little or no respect to players who could improve this team, put it this way, they couldn't f#$k it anymore than it currently is so give them a go....

Are these sub-standard selections -
1-a deliberate ploy to run the club into the ground enforcing relocation to Perth.
2- an attempt to make capable players disgruntled, hoping they leave because JT
doesn't rate them and wants their salary cap dollars spent on recruiting players.
3- JT simply doesn't recognise talent .
4- All of the above

I'm at a loss, nothing positive ever seems to come out of our club...!

MU, yeah would have gone with Lawrence 1st but maybe Taylor thinks that he'd be weakening 1 position to strengthen another by moving Lawrence, that is a big wrap for Lawrence and might also mean that Sironen does not come straight back into the starting pack.

Think that the more game time Cherrington has the better long term.

Perhaps also Taylor wants to be remembered for introducing someone into 1st grade.

As for Akaoula being on the outer, it says a lot about Taylor if he can't look pass the crap and play someone. Great man management there if being on the outer means between the player and Taylor.

If it's with the rest of the playing group, that's another issue.

I'm not certain Hoeter or Milone are better centres that Rowdy right now.

Halatau is a better fringe forward than a hooker.

All i can see with my suggestion is 2 weak spots get fixed and the other spot sees very little change.

Although rowdy isn't anywhere near the quality centre he once was he's still a better option than both
Milone who is way out of his depth in 1sts & hoeter who is more comfortable on wing than centre.

Our depth has got to be close to weakest in the comp.

We've got to hope that our board are influential in the business community/corporate world(re 3rd party funding arrangements) & this team starts consistently showing signs they can compete in nrl or we have buckleys of attracting quality players in the short/medium term.

One of the only shining lights of our steady decline this season has been Lawrence doing well in the backrow so I don't mind his staying there. Not seen much of Milone so can't comment on him, hopefully JT has seen some promise.

Also not sure if Cherrington is up to 80 mins yet, and Halatau has been filling in at dummy half all year. Can't really fault the selections there too much.

It's up to the players to show some fkn pride now.
