Yup, brainless. Set the tone, we never recovered.

Will get dismissed as "that's how he plays", but once in a career/lifetime opportunity and....yeah - that.

Southee (apart from one flukey innings) has been absolutely horrendous this WC.

Better Test bowler than ODI IMO.

All our bowlers are young bar Vettori/Mills. If injury is kind they'll all be available for the next WC, but I question whether Southee will be good enough to be there. We'll see.

Our batting reserves for the next WC is the big question mark. No McCullum, Taylor, Ronchi you'd think. No idea who's impressing domestically either.
