The 'rural feel' of Penrith........does this mean Griffin will be living at Wentworth Falls.
I don't think he's on much coin and thus is a very real risk of getting the arse.
If the first 11 Tigers games of 2016 is anything like the last 11 games of 2015, then he won't see the end of the year (3 wins, 8 losses).
A coach is supposed to make players better, and subsequently the team.
first half of 2015
12 games - 4 wins, 8 losses, For 211, Against 242 (-31 difference)
last half
12 games - 4 wins, 8 losses, For 276, Against 320 (-44 difference)
Shows that we didn't improve anywhere, especially in the area of defence which he stated at the start of the year would be his only focus for the year.
The bloke is a charlatan
He's a charlatan
but not THE Charlatan
The rebirth of Nathan Brown as a first-grade coach means the Blues are down a key assistant. Word is that Ivan Cleary, the axed Panthers coach, will have a role. It would be the ideal way for him to keep his hand in the game and clear his head. The only hitch will be if he lands a top job in the meantime still a distinct possibility.
Hope robbie remains with us as there's no doubt the illiterate dickhead Taylor won't be the coach in '17.
However the only reason robbie is still with us is the nrl wouldn't register a recent contract offer by Saints coz it's only half the value that the nrl consider the incumbent blues hooker to be worth.
We'd be paying 75% as saints offer was approx 25% of what Farahs contract with us is worth.
The nrl r only being equitable in setting realistic market prices.
New pressure for Taylor
Ex-skipper O'Neill set for key Tigers role and big say in coach and club's future
Already there is speculation in league circles that O'Neill's former Tigers teammate Todd Payten would be the players' preferred coach if Taylor does not see out the year.
