The ARL did the that back in the day- Brisbane finally got to host some finals games and they chose Lang Park to piss off the Broncos, who were pushing it to be played at the (at the time) bigger (and arguably more modern) ANZ Stadium. $40 for cheap seats is ridiculous.

Would only take 1 year of SOO interstate and ANZ and Suncorp management would be both be sorted out

Probably 1995. All finals had been in Sydney up til then and broncos were still playing at anz shit hole then. They played Canberra in a semi at lang park that year. It's actually on foxsports today.

AAMI park is seeming on par with the dissapointment of Suncorp.

They've had two crowds over 20k and it's as if everyone has done their dash or holding back for a possible prelim.

Suncorp is abysmal. I'm furious, the NRL can f**k off.

The Cowboys just aren't a big draw historically in Melbourne though, for example they only play here every 2 years which suggest that the Storm don't request them as a team to play at home.

Funnily enough the Storm are a very good draw in Townsville.

AAMI park is seeming on par with the dissapointment of Suncorp.

They've had two crowds over 20k and it's as if everyone has done their dash or holding back for a possible prelim.

Suncorp is abysmal. I'm furious, the NRL can f**k off.

I reckon most Storm fans are expecting a win this Saturday and saving their dough for the prelim final.

They have also made the process of buying tickets very convoluted. You have to enter a passcode before you can even browse for tickets on Ticketek. This sort of thing will severely deter the casual Melbourne fan.

Yeah the way to purchase tickets is a nightmare, plus the price, plus the opposition here in Brisbane is a mix that will on provide a failure. No one here cares about the Titans. I wish the Bulldogs slipped to 8th.

That's if you actually get the codes. My family has 3 ticketed memberships and not one of us got one.
