The Storm should be getting crowds like the Swans for all there success, for being the proclaimed 'sporting capital' they don't get the Storm it's just due crowd wise. The likes of the Lions/Reds get the big crowds when there winning in Brisbane yet the Storm don't get the same treatment.

To pay off a mortgage that is ludicrously over inflated
In an area rife with crime
choking Pollution
Shit house under staffed hospitals
Appalling schools

I'll take everything Canberra is that Sydney is not , & pass on everything Sydney is

the financial stability has only occurred in the last 10 or so years
prior to that the super league hang over & being owned by the scum that is news ltd took its toll
they then had to build facilities
purchase licensed premises
purchase other property
fund the game in the district & ensure it was on a level footing with other codes , the raiders essentially back everything RL related down here at grass roots level & that costs $$

so yeah
that's where its gone
& of course over time assemble a strong squad capable of winning a title
but I wouldn't expect an ignoramous like you to know any of this
