Disappointing crowd in Townsville. Maybe 9k. Poor considering it's just a bit of rain. Those people in the bush don't know how to handle the elements like people in the big smoke do.

No one would've predicted a tropical low causing rain and keeping the crowed down, but the Cows playing at home on a weekday, seriously which numpty from NRL HQ thought this was acceptable?

Greenberg needs to look into Thursday night footy, certain clubs shouldn't have a home on a Thursday.

Before just laying into a shit crowd, worth considering it's Thursday night, a shitload of refinery workers got laid off (yes they got offered freebies but how many would want to go to the game?), it's been pouring for days, nearby areas are under flood risk.

All pretty valid excuses.

Thursday (and Monday), doesn't do well anywhere.

Rubbish.
All clubs should be equally as affected by Thursday and MNF.....but we all know the chances of equality in the NRL.
