Well that was a strange game, particularly for a final.

I don't think the refs helped - there was a lot of Titans grubbiness that went unpunished, and a few strange decisions that thankfully went both ways.

Anyway, we will have to play wayyy better next week lol. Hopefully Brisbane put in a performance like they did against Melbourne a few weeks ago, or our two outings against the Cowboys this year. But always nice to win a final - so close to putting on 50!

By the rules it was a penalty try. I think hurrell should be able to defend the ball as long as he doesnt kick kahu in the face

But by the rules penalty try.

It is odd though that when roberts kicked out down the field it was play on

Wipe the froth from your mouths angry neutrals (and indignant potential opposition). Next week you get to watch the broncos get belted against a better team.

Now let's re watch another great Broncos finals victory.

Some sense.

But yes, the turd calls started when Roberts got away with that kick.

That ambush effort against Melbourne sticks out as a huge anomaly at the moment. The only performance coming close to matching last year's form. Despite getting on a winning run recently, it's been way too patchy - particularly tonight as we faced little struggle with a lot going our way. Line defense is way off and ball handling has been borderline embarrassing.

The Cows and the Storm will be several rungs up on us in finals football and away from home. Nothing less than that last effort against Melbourne will be needed, but it's hard to see it coming again after the discouraging efforts of the last couple of weeks.

Spot on, next week is going to be a really tough ask.

What calls went the Titans way?

Broncos got handed that game. Would of been interesting if Taylor didn't get injured. Titans gifted Brisbane a lot of their tries with stupid mistakes. Cowboys will give them a touch up next week. If not the raiders surely will the following week

Yeah, it's gonna be a huge ask.

But at least we seemed to have managed to get through unscathed tonight. The loser tomorrow night could potentially be decimated by injury...

And I'm hoping the flat performance was because they were already thinking of week 2. The Titans are a plucky side and they have done their modest (but loyal) fan base proud but they were never gonna challenge tonight, as the end scoreline proved.
