In order
Cowboys
Canberra
Brisbane
Souths
Parra
Melbourne
Warriors
Cronulla
Canterbury
Manly
Easts
Penrith
Dragons
Gold coast
Newcastle
Wests

Hadd to pick between 2nd and 13th. Even the bottom 3 could surprise if young players fire and the squad stays fit

1....history tells me the cows will struggle
2....my brain tells me the warriors should do well but probably will not
3...every year there are the sliders, probably Souths, dogs and maybe the Storm
4..every year there are climbers, probably Manly and Parra
5..On paper the Tigers are a certainty for bottom 3 but will surprise and maybe scrape into the 8
Anyway
1...bronks
16..Titians

and who knows what happens with the rest

So taking into account their 9's winning form, you've dropped the Eels 1 spot on your list from 9th to 10th?? So are you one of those people that aren't paying attention to the 9's or WCC?

Albot is a troll account mate.

Question marks over the forward pack most likely. That's my biggest doubt about them, especially in regards to depth up front.

Our forwards held their own last year it was our backs that lacked imagination other than 'pass to semi'

The likes of Mau, Moeroa, Paulo all have another year under their belts and I don't think our depth up front is that bad. We have a mobile pack that work hard (Scott and Watmough) we rolled through Penrith alright last week.

Mannah
Paulo
Ma'u
Scott
Moeroa
Wicks
Gower
Alvaro
Watmough
Terepo
Edwards
Hasson
O'Brien
Nelson
Tanginoa
Twal*
Ualesi*
Woods*

Unknowns but have wraps on them.

I don't think it's too bad in terms of forward depth. Obviously like most clubs we will need to get through with limited injuries but we got guys there that if needed will be able to do a job for us

The pack doing reasonable in an unlimited interchange trial is a lot different than doing it in a reduced interchange NRL match. Especially when your side dominates possession and field position due to a ridiculous amount of errors.

Not saying they can't do a job. But there's definitely reason for there to be question marks over the pack and its depth.

Looks like a bottom 8 pack on paper, that's where the doubt is. Paper doesn't mean anything once the games actually start though so we'll see.

The Eels need Ken Edwards to stay fit this year. He is about the only bloke that offers a bit of ball playing ability. The rest of them are a tad predictable and just hit it up. Mo'eroa used to look to offload when he first came in to grade but has largely put it away now. Junior Paulo has show a propensity to off load now and then, but not all that often anymore. David Gower seems to think he's a ball player, I just don't think he's much good at it. In any case, I don't think Gower should be in the top 17. Good honest trier and reasonable enough for cover but shouldn't be in the 17 unless there are injuries or rep committments....

why all the manly love ? I recon only possible top 8

Depends how highly you rate Foran I guess.

Manly were one of the best teams in the second half of the season after they were decimnated in the first half by injury.

Since then they've add Walker, Taupau, Myles, Brown, Parcell etc

Far more quality coming in than going out.

Big question marks in the coach and teams with big personell changes don't historically lead to dominance on the field
