I was overseas for 2013. Watched it on delay at a pub in New York. I remember it being a good game but it didn't make a huge impression on me.

Re Maloney and the Roosters, there's a tiny bit of revisionist history in there. Maloneys form, especially first half of last season, was pretty terrible. Missing tackles, generally way off. Great that he has refound form, he's a likeable player and I enjoy watching his game, but he wasn't playing nearly this well last season

Not to take anything away from the Sharks who were worthy winners - but certain points of that game will eat at me for a very long time. Chambers was one pass away from being a premiership winner.

If Maloney hadn't tripped Vunivalu on that play I suspect he scores and we would all be talking about a Storm premiership this morning. Something I thought went unnoticed, would have been a simple pop for Chambers on the regather.

Last year's was absolute tripe save the last 1 minute. How could you even compare the two? FFS. Who could enjoy a game where one team kicks the ball out for the last 25 mins like Brisbane did? Shit stain viewing. That's just shit viewing. Tonight was classic RL.

Fast, open, attacking rugby league. The Broncos turned to shit at the end, but the whole game was way more entertaining than this one for 75 minutes. This came ok at the end, but it was a game typical for these two boring teams.
