Canberra have been on TV for the last 2 seasons with ground sponsor signage. It's not unique to Channel 9. Likely, as someone else suggested, that the lighting screwed with the tone of the grass.

Also worth noting they're on TV in a fortnight against the Bulldogs and the following Friday against Manly.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...which is why I am happy the Panthers will never wear Cardinal and Myrtle.

I ended up getting the indigenous shirt last night. I was pretty skeptical about the lack of red and green but in the flesh I thought it was a really nice design with the players totems in a subtle grey a bit like the viking artwork Widnes have in their kit this year. Plus i'm a total mug when it comes to buy sports shirts.

Off the top of my head I can't remember but the club did have a video on Facebook or the site about who belonged to which tribe and what their totem was (not sure if dreaming the correct term but they used totem)
