The fact the actual logo has the teal colour still there is confusing me... Surely that should be brought into line with the overall colour scheme - And the massive Panther on the front looks shit - I'd like to say it'd be better if it wasn't on a stupid angle, but I'd be kidding myself

Also, why would I spend hard earned dollars on something that will probably look 1000x different next season? This just seems like a massive cash grab if you ask me...

We only wear that one like 2-3 times a year anyway - We'll see Pink more often than not

Given they have committed to the Black-White-Gold combo, id like to see them do sometheing like this in reference to the old AllSorts jersey.

As much as i love a simple jersey, i feel like that Panthers should be trying to establis an iconic design.

These are awesome, but these days would be ruined with sponsors.

Even still, 100 times better option than the rubbish they have at the moment.

Not necessarily...

The big blank patch on the chest would be great for the sponsors logo. Even if it meant the gold striped had to be lowered to the stomach, the general imagery would be the same.

Based on all the evidence, including this horrible 50 year jersey, cringeworthy pink panthers, childish Panther alternate and the lack of a consistent secondary accent colour to the black...the answer is no. No you can't do better.

For f*ck sake. They finally hit a winner, and they want to change it the first chance they get.

This is why im gald "Rugby League people" arent incharge of the ARLC, theyve got no idea how to brand or market. They just jump on whatever new brainwave they get. I bet they bring out ANOTHER logo to match the new jersey.

Then again, when they primary qualification of a "RL person" is the ability to simulate car crashes with your head 20 times a game, we cant really expect much else......

Someone needs to show Gus this thread so he can see what the general public and Panthers fans think of his design, and so he can see what they think of other designs using the same color scheme.

He's absolutely clueless about this stuff. He might know footy better than most. But he doesn't know the first thing about design.

Panthers issues go way beyond design. They can't settle on an identity which is counterproductive not only to good design, but brand recognition.

FFS sort it out Penrith.
