Replacing the team logo with the anniversary logo for the year would have been perfect. The oversized logo just looks bad.

I was hoping I hadn't, actually - not with the heritage at least. It's just tacky. What's wrong with having it just like Manly is doing? Ever since Sean Mielekamp left (who I recently discovered is actually now the CC Mariners CEO), the merchandising seems to have gone downhill.

Would have been better if they had properly compensated for the sponsors box...

Just lower the bottom Red strip to extend the Black and the Sponsors box would integrate perfectly.

i hope not. that jersey should never be revived. classic did a retro version last year . i hope they sold 5 and burned the pattern

Sorry, reading back that sentence it was written poorly - the 50th anniversary club logo is not being used this year to replace the usual club logo, which is what Manly is doing.

I'm with you now, but I stand by my statement. As much as Manly might have got a logo right (and the crests on the sleeves is a nice touch too), the sponsor ruins any reasonable attempt at a retro/heritage jersey.

Yeh they have, think it was a 1922 throwback. Even the Kevin Irvine walk off jersey would be a good away. Pretty much a fan of all the Bears jerseys, have a few Citibank jerseys in the collection.

The "Citibank" jersey is their alternate this season.
