Did Inglis plead guilty because players are encouraged to do just that when there's even a slight chance they can't prove they're not . . . or . . . like the rest of us does he know Souths are ratshit for '16 so why not take the time off

"Turning to chase the kick" haha. If Inglis was trying to turn them his turning circle is worse than the Queen Mary.

Doesn't explain dropping his shoulder, tucking his arm, keeping his eyes on Dugan, and continuing to run towards him right up until he smashed him in the face.

This big turd is be whole reason the shoulder charge got banned in the first place with his effort on Dean Young. Greggie has done more to ruin rugby league than super league

Lol @ turning to chase a kick. He was being lazy and instead of finishing the tackle after he kicked the ball he just dropped the shoulder into him instead.

If it was Jarrod "Best Young Centre In The Game" Croker that had his jaw broken you would be calling for Inglis to be banned for life

Greg Inglis being lazy? now i've heard everything...

It was a penalty, Dugan's jaw shattered, he was placed on report and the MRC issued a Grade 2 Charge.

AND he pleaded guilty. How is it harsh?
It was all accidental imo.

GI probably should have tucked his shoulder/arm in but it happened so fast.

There was no point fighting the charge as they wouldn't have let him off no matter what case he came up with.

To make matters worse for SOUTHS we have Maxwell as ref on Saturday.

If someone is injured as the result of an illegal act then yes, it should be a penalty every day.

Inglis' act in last night's game wasn't legal, no matter what your QLD bias puts forward.
In general terms though players stay down when it was just fair legal play and still the refs find a reason to blow a penalty against.

It wasn't legal play. It was completely illegal and was ruled as such.

Back to the first post - RE: Lachlan Coote - he's been cleared at the judiciary tonight for the contrary conduct - match official contact charge and will play R20 v Bulldogs.

Kyle Feldt accepted the early plea for the ridiculous shoulder charge on Monday night and misses 3 games.

What part of Inglis' shoulder that purposely hit a bloke in the head breaking his jaw is not a shoulder charge?

He actually lined him up to make sure he got him.
He had more than enough time to pull out of it.
