Meh.. You can't hate on the players for getting these big deals... Good on them...

They would be stupid not signing these deals... It's the teams that look stupid...

Wow, Magic get Biyombo too. Our rebounding and rim protection just went from non-existent to (hopefully) very good.

Biyombo to the Magic for 4years/$72m - 18m per year
Marvin Williams to Hornets for 4/54 - 13.5m per year
Ryan Anderson to the Rockets for 4/80 - 20m per year

Sign of the times I guess... It's getting out of hand...

Funny thing is that most analysis I've read has 2 of those 3 (Biyombo & Williams) as decent value in this market and Williams actually took less money to stay in Charlotte than some outside teams were offering.

Doubt Green will start. With the squad as it stands now Gordon or Hezonja will start at the 3 I imagine.

Strong, Strong rumours going around that the Thunder are looking to dump Kanter's salary somewhere so they can make a strong run at Al Horford... If they manage to keep KD and pick up Horford... That's SOME team.

Al Horford to the Celtics. 4yrs for $113m

That's great for the Celtics.... Apparently KD was trying to recruit him to OKC but he wouldn't sign on because he couldn't get a firm commitment that both he and Russ will stay beyond next summer..

Fair enough IMO....

It makes Boston more appealing as a franchise now...
