Our roster is just so poor in comparison to most sides because they all seem to be able to sign whoever they want with their limitless caps sooo....

I think it'll be a tough year again but certainly no spoon. The biggest positive for the season will be the player cleanout and new signings for 2017. We can certainly make the finals but we need 2 or 3 players to have unexpected breakout seasons from out of nowhere...that's not likely unfortunately.

4-5 years ago I would have given us a chance to punch above our weight and finish as high as 7th even with the worst side in the comp.

However we haven't had any kind of fight in the squad since 2011.

If Browny can get some fight back into them I reckon 9th-12th. If it's more of the same we've seen in the past few years then bottom 4 for sure and lucky not to get the spoon again.

Our best 17 is good enough to make the 8 imo. Unfortunately, our depth is so thin right now that it's going to be a struggle for us to do well. If we land a decent prop and outside back in the off-season then I'll be a lot more optimistic.

 

[The Showstopper]

I will be happy if we become a top 4 defensive side. If we can stop points and still lose by small margins that is enough for me in 2016. If we get defence right we can beat anyone.
