Most of the penalties were bullshit.
This is the new NRL. Most of the penalties, no tries, rulings, MRC decisions etc are bullshit.

Just let the game flow and be consistent. Next week all the things that were adjudicated tonight will be given the opposite or let go. Hard to watch.

I love how there is a panthers fan who seems to have the same issue that balmain fans have - a lifelong jealousy of the raiders. Always hilarious to watch. But seriously bro, move on.

Dragqueen fans have a similar problem with the Broncos.
Only much much worse

We were no dirtier in the ruck than you guys.
Like I said in another reply. The only thing consistent during a game and week to week is the inconsistency. If you blow it for one side, gotta blow it for the other or not at all. You guys got hammered with penalties tonight and may not be angels next week without playing any different.

One thing is for sure, aside from the exhaustion the Sharks might or might not have had, they really need to formulate a plan "B" for their playmakers in case of some major malfunction during the finals. If there is a positive to come from this loss for the Sharks, they have the need to address a serious problem if it ever arises again.

Overall, the Sharks were not "The Sharks" given that this will be the game they needed to lose to iron out heir inefficiencies.

I'm going to wait until after the Storm game before I declare us genuine premiership contenders. That would be such an odd and unfamiliar feeling.

Anyway still up up there on the table cant complain good win raiders
100%. If we lose and play shit the next 3 weeks, then we have an issue. We had enough ball to score more. Raiders defence was strong and snuffed out the attack that looked slower and more one out than previous weeks.
It will be great to see Leulia, rapana and Hodgson in sharks jersey next year. 600k each should do it

The Sharks are a good side, but there was always going to be someone who showed their flaws.

The raiders most definitely have them too for that matter, but we have a bit of X factor that would be so hard to game plan for (Leilua, Croker and rapana predominantly). I think good teams showed last year they could shut down Austin, but this year there is so much else to focus on and he's gone from being the focal point of everything we do, to a good player who is free to pick and choose his involvement more.
