Tigers will always play Souths, Dogs and Eels at ANZ as it allows for reciprocation arrangements for each sides' membership base. Even Dragons are involved in that from memory.

Except saints don't get reciprocal rights, have to add it on.

Yeah Saints management are awesome with reciprocal rights.

They allow free entry to members of away teams that share ANZ with us, but when we play away at ANZ you have to pay equivalent of about $16 per game when you sign up membership.

Everyone is alway disappointed with games vs Saints at ANZ thinking 19-20k have reciprocal rights as part of our membership. Reality is probably less than 1000 do.

And there is no incentive to add it on. You can either pay $16 per game to add it on in October, before you know who we're playing, when we're playing, what night, what form the teams are in, what the weather is likely to be like etc

Or you can wait til the week of the game and take up the $15 ticket offer emailed out.

Except they don't, which is the difference with the AFL.

The NRL don't get control of draw back until 2018.

I thought that was changed for this season, which is why Thursday footy went fulltime? Oh well, still doesn't change the fact that all parties involved can't get together and iron out a draw.

yeah wont happen.

I know, but one can dream. It's a joke that the regional grounds get screwed around. More than likely we'll get Penrith, Canberra, a Queensland side and the Warriors out at Campbelltown for our games this year :/

Really underlines to me that the clubs are still run like its amateur hour

You might get that in Round 1 :)

(P.S. Campbelltown is not a "regional ground").

f**k me I'm sick of this argument. Penrith at Campbelltown is sensible, so is Canberra. Warriors at Campbelltown is an absolute no brainer, and just say it's the Cowboys, THEY'RE THE f**kING DEFENDING CHAMPIONS!

I don't know about other people in the Tigers fanbase (actually I do, they're derping all over social media as I type) but when I go to watch the Tigers play, I go to watch the f**king TIGERS play, I couldn't give two shits of a f**k about the opposition.

The round 1 rumours/hints on Twitter seem to be:

Cowboys v sharks
Eels v Broncos
Rabbits v roosters
Storm v dragons
Tigers v warriors

If these are true I'll take a stab at the others:

Titans v manly (DCE and Myles v Titans)
Canterbury v penrith (apparently dogs are on Friday night)
Newcastle v Canberra (the game no one cares about)

The following article was posted on the NRL's website earlier this morning -

Sunday blockbusters to kick-off 2016

http://www.nrl.com/news/adrian-mcmurray/tabid/11574/authorid/4/default.aspxMon 23 Nov, 2015, 7:00am
By Adrian McMurray *, Producer, NRL.com

NRL fans will be treated to host of local derbies on Sunday afternoons to begin 2016, with Sydney rivals to clash in the 4pm timeslot over the first five rounds of the season.

The 2016 NRL Telstra Premiership draw will be released exclusively on NRL.com this week, but NRL Head of Football Todd Greenberg has revealed some key fixtures to be played during the opening weeks of the competition.

It's set to be a win for families, with some of the game's biggest rivals to face off on Sunday afternoons throughout March and April.

"We have certainly made an effort to ensure that some of our best match-ups and blockbusters are in family-friendly timeslots," Greenberg said.

"Whilst I don't want to give too much away, we will have a number of strong Sydney derbies on Sundays through the opening rounds of the Telstra Premiership.

"Both of our broadcast partners, Channel Nine and Fox Sports, have been fantastic through this process to ensure we have some great match-ups for our fans."

It won't just be those in the harbour city who will be able to experience these fixtures, with all 4pm Sunday games to be broadcast live in high definition on Channel Nine and streamed live to tablets and mobile devices on NRL Digital Pass.

Local rivals the Roosters and Rabbitohs will resume hostilities at Allianz Stadium in Round 1, with South Sydney welcoming back grand final hero Sam Burgess in what will be his first game in cardinal and myrtle since the 2014 NRL decider.

Stacked with a host of fresh faces and attacking talent, 2016 is an important year for both the Sharks and Dragons, with the sides to meet at Remondis Stadium in Round 2 in a fixture that saw 84 points scored in two games in 2015.

The Rabbitohs have had the wood on Paul McGregor's team in recent times, but these two Charity Shield rivals never fail to produce a quality spectacle. St George Illawarra will host the Rabbitohs at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Round 3, before the Red V take on Penrith on Sunday afternoon in Round 4.

All eyes will then turn to the west in Round 5, when Brad Arthur and his new-look Eels face the Panthers under new coach Anthony Griffin. With plenty of movement at both clubs, it looms as one of the most anticipated western Sydney derbies in years at Pirtek Stadium.

Sunday fixtures to kick-off season 2016
Round 1 (March 6) – Roosters v Rabbitohs at Allianz Stadium | #NRLRoostersSouths
Round 2 (March 13) – Sharks v Dragons at Remondis Stadium | #NRLSharksDragons
Round 3 (March 20) – Dragons v Rabbitohs at Sydney Cricket Ground | #NRLDragonsSouths
Round 4 (March 27) – Dragons v Panthers (TBA - Jubilee Oval or WIN Stadium) | #NRLDragonsPanthers
Round 5 (April 3) – Eels v Panthers at Pirtek Stadium | #NRLEelsPanthers

R3 Dragons home game at SCG v Souths.

If Souths play in Brisbane in R2 we won't get a home game at ANZ until R4.

Thursday nights don't go full time until the new rights deal kicks in in 2018, we still have 2 years of Monday Night Football & delayed Friday games left.

"The draw will be released this week". Why can't they just give us a day and time? 10AM Thursday or whatever, how hard is it?

It isn't. However by putting it that way, you will check their site every day until they do. Good example of "click bait" if you ask me.

Probably because it's not finalised?

Previous years they have released & found issues.

Perhaps they are still checking for any problems?
