I think Madge likes having 2 Burgii on the field at a time.

I think we need Tom on the bench for impact. I think Madge will do this too.

Can Auva'a catch bombs though????? I don't think he's played wing much before.

I know Hunt has played wing with his previous clubs. Madge may play Hunt on the wing.


I read that Tom injured an ankle and will be right for Round 1.

As Grevs hasn't played any trials due to his knee I don't think he will be there Round 1. Madge will give him a hit out or 2 with Norths first.

Here is my R1 team minus Keary, George and Grevs:

9. McInnes (may play a bit in back row too)

I was hoping to watch the game today to make up my own judgement but was busy doing stuff.

But yea reading all the comments on social media sounds like he did have a good game. He made a line break I heard during the game. I've got a feeling that he might go with Goodwin and Auva'a in the centre and have Hunt on the wing.

Yep that's what I think. Hunt on the wing too. Madge had better not leave Auva'a out and have Gray in. If Madge does this I may pass out!!!!

Apparently Olive wasn't good.

Olive isn't ready yet like I said.

Back to Norths and he can improve with hard work.

i think olive will be good, but just isn't ready yet for first grade.

Southsport thinks Bryson is currently our in form centre too.

Alien said Musgrove was hot and cold.

Maybe Madge takes a gamble and plays Musgrove over Tyrrell. Time will tell.

Or maybe play Clark off the bench and start Tyrrell to balance things out a bit.

Round 1 will be tough for us.

I heard the first half was average by the way the team was performing but did better in the 2nd half.

There is some spots open.So who knows which way Madge is thinking

I'm hoping he takes a gamble on Musgrove. I liked the way he played in the CS when I was him and I liked the way he played last year for the bears even.

Sounds like Bryson is continuing on from last years form great to hear
Also great to hear Hunt proving a great guy and pushing hard for a spot as well
Good to hear Inglis and Sammy and Mcinnes also did well
I hear Turner has bulked up as well great defender ,hits good angles.
Who else did well or not so well
Olive isn't ready ,how was Walker and Keary ?
How is Toms injury
Sounds like Clark has improved as well

Yeah if you don't complete your sets as Madge says you put too much pressure on yourselves.

That's why we leaked 14 points in the first half.

Doing the basics is extremely important.


Oi alien I bet we missed Adam's kicking game didn't we???????

that is definitely possible, although i do remember that auva'a played on the wing in the bears team, just before he came back from his suspension. i'm not sure if that was under madge's orders though

mcinnes didn't do all that well. walker didn't do as much as he did in the charity shield but was ok. keary set up 2 tries. clark was ok, and kinda setup gi for his try
