I don't think auva'a, goodwin or hunt will play wing. If wing was an option they would of spent some time there during the trials. It's a pretty close call between all 3. Hunt has been the best in the trials, he was continually dangerous in the CS, and used clever footwork to score a try in titans game. He also showed he has good defence.
Goodwin went good in the trials. You always know what your going to get with goodwin, he will put his hand up for hit-ups, it's his main strength.
Auva'a went ok in the trials, he scored a try in the CS, that showcased his strong running with strength and speed. In the 2nd half of the Titans game he showed he can match it with goodwin when it comes down to knuckling down and doing the grunt work. He is of course a maguire favourite and has twice taken the centre spot of goodwin in the past, 1st in 2014 on his way to a premiership, and 2nd when he shifted goodwin to the wing in 2015.
I know i personally don't rate goodwin as a centre, he's the only rabbitoh i repeatedly criticize, and on this forum it's really love him or hate him. He's supporters on here will greatly exaggerate everything he does, to the point of he's getting a repeat set in the CS mase him one of the players of the match. Now i think it's a pretty close call on who out of the 3 make it, and if goodwin makes it he has deserved it, but personally in the trials I think hunt and auva'a have showed they can do what goodwin does well (grunt work) but goodwin hasn't quite done what hunt and auva'a do well (provide a threat in attacking situations and look comfortable in defence)
All 3 got equal minutes in all the trials so i think centre is the most open position for round 1 selection
