It's not like the Titans/Broncos game....these calls were cruddy but Penrith weren't the better side.

You can't have that many errors and 5 tackle poor decisions and win.

Never said we were. Tonight was a reality check for a young team that still has to improve a great deal more to be a contender.

The media was overrating Penrith this week but it's a good season and I expect most of us will be happy with finishing top 6 when we were looking at one stage like we'd struggle to make the 8. We were playing with a half at hooker and back rower at 5/8, a natural 5/8 at fullback as well as a rookie halfback. We also had a new coach. I think we did alright this year considering.

Overall,the better team won.To a point I'm sort of relieved that we didn't jag a win.God knows what would have happened to us next week against the Juggernaut in the Storm.

Despite all the stupid penalties and errors from Penrith today a big reason we lost tonight was this Canberra side were too damn big and powerful for us. We were rattled by the brutes in green. RCG will be back next year and Tamou is coming to add more bulk.

The Raiders might trouble the Storm but I think the Storm's defence will be too good.
