Hodgson and Austin in. I'm concerned this game goes to Golden Point now... Won't be able to deal with that.

Thankyou...although you never know, this could change before kick-off.Wonder how those injuries are going to hold up during the game in the freezing conditions?

Yep aha. My opinion of our chances in this hasnt changed much despite that news. its just now occurring to me that i can see a field goal deciding this in golden point but at least we have moylan, wallace, cleary for that while they have sezer (cant kick one), hodgson (injured foot), wighton maybe and austin maybe

Don't be concerned about golden point panther fans. The Raiders will just give it to sezer to miss for the 900th time this season.

despite having a crook foot chances are hodgson kicks it for the journos who will rant on for the whole week about him being like jesus rising from the dead or something and saving canberra

The 2 golden point games we’ve won this year were sealed with tries, so we’d probably be better to keep going down that route.

So Raiders will be nearly at full strength... possibly stronger than named if Paul Vaughan comes in for Priest. Things were looking sweet for a Panthers victory a few days ago. That doesn't make it un winnable now, but it sure as hell makes it harder.

I'm sure Hodgson won't be 100%. But if he's even 90% that's a big inclusion. I would imagine he will be having to leave his kicking game on the sideline this week though.

Hodgson playing works in favour of the Panthers imo. There's no way he can dart out of dummy half and create anything spectacular with the injury he sustained last week

Other than distributing the ball I doubt he'll be that useful

We don't need extra time in this game, need to be fit & refreshed for Melbourne. Why doesn't 1 of you forfeit!

I think the Raiders will win comfortably. Home ground advantage & looked better last week - just lost to a determined Sharks whereas the Panthers beat an ordinary Dogs, taking a while to get on top of them.

Raiders 13+. I think they'd be better served resting Hodgson too btw...save him for Melbourne.

Maybe. They wouldn't be letting him play if they thought he was going to have less impact than whoever his replacement would be. I hope we're planning as if he's 100%.

We took a while to get on top of them for a reason... it was a tactic. But yeah i reckon hodgson wont have as great an impact tomorrow night but still we will need to start well or it could end up 13+, although we are good at running down leads

Mail is Lima. Lets hope that's the case

Hodgson's strength is the uncertainty created by the mix of his exceptional running game and his playmaking skills. If he can't run, he won't offer much in my opinion. Better to have Baptiste there just shoveling the ball out to the halves and not risk causing further damage to your best player by a long shot.

Despite Canberra's form last game, I wouldn't be too confident seeing as it is at GIO stadium and away teams tend to play like reserve grades when they play against Canberra there. Must be something in the water.
