Still think that it will be the two teams celebrating their 50th anniversaries in the decider with the perpetual bridesmaids to be the perpetual bridesmaid yet again! Penrith for their third!

Canberra $1.67 Penrith $2.25

Weight of money has changed significantly after the two Canberra doubtfuls were named.

Can't ignore the market.Remember that we were similar priced faves against the Dogs.

Although I understand the money coming in I wouldn't be banking on the fitness of either during the game itself.

Austin's broke his hand, he'll probably play with pain and it may limit his passing ability slightly. Unless he rebreaks it during the game I can't see it having that much influence on interchanges.

Hodgson is a different case. I'm still sceptical that he'll play.

And how well they will handle the cool conditions.Sticky is obviously throwing all in with this game.Don't blame him as the fans would be calling for blood if he didn't include them.

Anyway,we only have to worry about our own game.We are full strength...the most in form team in the comp...and all the confidence in the world.

I really don't understand why you're skeptical. Why would they lie? If he wasn't going to play, they wouldn't announce it yesterday. They would have just kept it quiet and said they're still assessing it. There are literally photos of him running on his ankle at training. He is playing.

Storm are the most in form team in the comp, close though

It appears the pendulum is starting to swing towards the Raiders. Pity I was hoping to watch the pennies for a few more weeks with their flamboyant attacking style. They would have been a good chance to upset the Storms dour grinding rhythm or at least make the Storm play differently.

Blake would have troubled Croker with his speed and power. Bit of a loss with Hardaker being very average in the little game time hes had. Play well here and a club in Australia might want him for next year

Austin will probably be OK, it is 4 weeks since he broke it. It'll get tested out though.

If Hodgson could not train on Wednesday, its hard to see how he can be fit for a full-on game.

Raiders play a pretty similar style to the Panthers. Raiders were the best attacking team in the comp this year.

Forget Melbourne, Raiders are in better form than Panthers too. Beaten just twice in the last 4 months, both against top 4 sides. That trumps 6 in a row especially when you look at who most of the 6 were.

We have won 6 in a row.Storm lost v Broncos just recently in rnd 25.

Our form is superior.

Last 6 wins, here they are:

Roosters, Knights, Tigers, Titans, Manly and Canterbury

deadset.. only 2 of those teams made the 8, both of which came into the 8 desperately out of form

Storm have beaten the likes of Cronulla and the Cowboys and the manner in which they did it was convincing, especially the Cronulla win
