If the Raiders play like they have the last 2 weeks, storm win

If Raiders can fInd that form they had during their 10 game winning streak they'll win simple as that

The finals series is a new comp, so we keep getting told. In the new comp, Canberra were beaten first week after being well in front, and well on the way to being beaten again in the second week after being well in front until Cummins intervened.

Hahahahaha. You miserable little f**k. So much Burt hurt in one sentence. And completely inaccurate too.

Quite simply, the Raiders frequently don't finish as well as they start.

You could have just said you don't watch Raiders games right from the start and saved yourself the embarrassment.

Its weird how we do randomly just switch off at various points. I dont think its a fitness thing overwise we wouldn't be so good at running sides down

Concentration thing? Sticky gets the team balance wrong with his bench ? Something in Canberra water that makes people blank out for 10 to 20 minutes during an 80 minute period. Who knows

Possibly a leadership thing. We have two men in Cam Smith and Cooper Cronk who always know when and how to settle the game when it needs to. I think players like Croker and Austin have a little bit to go in that regard.

Moffla brings up a good point though.

We are comparatively inexperienced. Croker has captained 2 finals games and cameron smith has captained his country and state numerous times, has a premiership and has captained melbourne for ages.

Croker is growing into a hell of a player mind but the old head in the team is 30 year old sia.

The forwards are especially young. Sia 30, whitehead 27, hodgson 26, vaughan, baptiste and boyd 25, papalii 24, paulo and tapine 22 and bateman 21. So i suppose lapses are understandable

There was obviously some mixed messaging going on last week when we let the Panthers back in. Got ourselves into a hole because we continued to push passes in our own half like we were behind on the scoreboard rather than 18 – 0 up. You kind of expect things like that from guys like BJ and Rapana but it was disappointing to see our most experienced player in Soliola responsible for one. Stuart was positively filthy about it on the sidelines so yeah, maybe guys like Croker needed to get them to pull their heads in.

Sezer as well. In his defence it was possibly his best game for the year but that forced pass on tackle 1 was sure dumb.

Funnily enough the one time you guys didn't switch off was when you beat us.

Yeah I think we knew that you just can't afford to get comfortable with the Storm, that's why I'm confident we'll put in an 80 minute performance this week. Will just have to see if that's enough.

What team has scored the most points in the second half this year out of interest the frog ?
It's one thing to put the cleaners through mediocre teams, but quite another to do it to good teams. Rather more relevant than points scored is points conceded, and Canberra have conceded 50% more points than their opponents in this game. But hey, I could be wrong.

If the Raiders are looking for a leader when the going gets tough it's gotta be Papa. Origin and test experience. This is the time when he needs to get in the middle and cart it up. On one side you've got GBYC and Papa who should be experienced enough to stop the stupid stuff but on the other side you've got BJ who is like a big puppy dog who gets too excited and Rapa who is cray cray at the best of times. Throw in Wighton and Whiteheads brain explosions and you've got the potential for lols or wows or both on the right side.

It's often when the replacement hooker comes on.

Canberra's discipline in this match is crucial.

Good luck, Canberra l. No hard feelings and I hope you out mongrel the Storm like you did us in the first half. Smash Cam Smith and Billy Slater will you?
