Tamou  Thoroughly deserved flogging for expecting no retaliation to the catty shit that has infected NRL for 3 years.

So that's about 120 to 20.... Amand people wonder why we think these fixtures are a waste of time!

Tamou getting laid out is the most exciting thing that's happened in a WCC in years, probably since 2004 when SBW laid out Bai with a huge shouldercharge.

Thankfully we've chased both of those things out of the NRL and replaced them with handbags, niggle, and wrestling

I wouldn't be bragging about that punch
Tamou wasn't even looking at the dude that threw it.

anyway pommie footy is now officially dead.

what a debarkle.
All 3 got their arse's handed to them.
I reckon those 3 pommie teams would get beaten by every NRL club.

These games highlight why it was a good decision for them to recruit an England coach from the NRL. They needed a coach who can bring their SL-based players up to NRL standard, not coach the NRL-based English players back down to SL standard.

Man... I think we all know the NRL is a step up from the Super League, but this weekend really was boys against men. What an embarrassment for English footy. I enjoyed watching Easts thump Saints in spite of our awful off-season, but these games need to be close if this thing is going to matter.

Bow down to your rugby league overlords!!!!

As a 21 year tragic, never thought i would see the day my shitbag club would be the #1 in the world.

But Leeds won the war.

"World champion Cowboys" still has a nice ring to it. As much a farce it is it would still mean alot to some of the players who have been at the club for awhile to have some silverware dedicated to graham murray. Muz started to club on the path that eventually led to to our current success from the rubbish roster and basketcase off the field that the club was in.

Leeds might've won this one if they had their first team out and not the reserves.

Pretty decent crowd despite the missing players. Would have been nice to see the 2015 Rhinos have a crack at the cowboys but having a postseason game is never gonna happen.

That chick in the hat is a pretty good player

ESL teams have season-long squad numbers, with 1-17 denoting the theoretical best team - so have a look at the Leeds line-up that ran out and how many blokes from outside that played.

Still, if you're not going to show up to a World Championship game... Scared I think.

who was missing?

Only Tom Briscoe, Danny McGuire, Beau Faloon, Stevie Ward, Carl Ablett, Jamie Jones Buchanan and Ashton Golding. 5 guys from the starting 13, 1 guy who would probably have a bench spot and one guy who would have been in the 17 if he'd have been fit today. 4 England / ex England international and 2 England U20 internationals on that list too.

No excuse though.

Leeds competed for 40 but couldn't cope when the pace went up. The talent is there in the UK. It's the structures and coaching that isn't sadly
