Haha you seriously comparing the crowds over 2 games in WA to Nsw? For a state that doesn't have a nrl team to get better crowds than a state that is there so called main sport?

I hear some soccer team from england is going to play a 1 off game here tonight. Going to outdraw their usual home attendance.

Be interesting to see the size of the crowd for the Storm v Roosters game in Adelaide.
A mate said some sections are sold out and it's not up against the two AFL teams.
Will be a cracker of a match, hopefully awesome crowd.
sounds better than Perth

I seem to recollect 61k turned out at anz last year to watch some college kids play a foreign game no one seemingly cares about. Everyone loves a hyped up event. Sadly nrl has no clue how to create this hype.

You need to watch sharks v dogs this Saturday.

No help from the NRL
Seats are all but sold out
Singles only in stands
Et stand upper level sold out
Dogs bay sold out
Cssc bay sold out
Silver singles only
Silver grog free singles only
Outer concourse singles only
Hot seats sold out

As a Sydney Thunder member, I could get 12 tickets per member card for that College NFL game.

I actually ordered 48 and didn't use a single ticket.

Surprising given this years game has tickets from $69-155 price tag. Surely if they were desperate to fill the place they wouldn't be asking $155 for decent seats? You should have got them and sold them on!

You'll have to watch to find out.

Funny how a good timeslot will get a better crowd .

Sunday arvo would be even better.

I see your last Saturday game you managed to get a whole 900 more people there than the "terrible" Perth crowd, impressive for reigning premiers lol. As for Sunday's, well your only Sunday game was against your biggest rivals and drew a whopping 14.2k fans! Again I don't blame people of Cronulla for not going, it's the club and nrl's fault for not making the game more popular and making the games must attend events.

I guess your hoping on plenty of Bulldogs fans turning up?

This weekend has nothing to do with the dogs fans coming btw

If Perth had a team is there a reason crowds would be worse than the 'novelty' crowds procured in Melbourne . . . especially if they changed from red to bright orange

sun, rain, day and night all reduce Perth attendances according to PR

Ideas for events they could market:
1. Magic weekend;
2. Qld Invasion (Brisbane v Parra, GC v Souths, NQ v Dogs triple header at ANZ on a Saturday);

Thats all Ive got.

F**ked up the above post but the question is still there

I think it was the irony of Perth Red using weather and timeslot as an excuse for the shit crowd they got last Sunday.
Actually it was utter hypocrisy.

Yet in the past Perth Red has ridiculed any team for a similar crowd figure in the exact same conditions and worse timeslots.

He used em all after Sunday
Weather
Timeslot
The NRL didn't do enough letterbox drops and cold calls to all Perth residents reminding them it was in
.... and my favourite...
no umbrellas allowed.

Pedantic?
Yeah
But ey ... it's a forum ..that's one of the places to be pedantic.
