how much will crowd watching get you once you get it started?

the 2022/2027 tv dollars could be half of what they are based on 2016 dollars. The short sighted administration that sold their soul to the tv networks will be struggling for gate receipts because the generation they should be enticing to the game have buggered off elsewhere.

These merkins and clubs shortsighted wanting all the tv money instead of finding grass roots have a lot to answer for

Game has some big problems that have been conveniently papered over by the massive tv deal just done. Viewing figures on tv are down significantly in some key markets and crowds are shtbouse for 2 out of 3 games. All the while the nrl is at war with the clubs and the players over slicing the tv pie. Good job we are a resilient sport or we would be heading the same way as union!
