Fantastic crowd! It's a shame that parra and the tigers have spent so much time at the bottom of the ladder because potentially I think they're the 2 biggest drawing teams in Sydney.

its an interesting debate
whos the biggest of the Sydney clubs when they're on top & winning regularly

in my opinion the eels & dogs are the biggest , almost nothing between them
so heres my list , flame away

1)Parramatta
2)Canterbury
3)St George Illawarra
4)Wests Tigers
5)Souths
6)Penrith
7)Roosters
8) Manly
9) Cronulla

What are you actually basing that on? Parra averaged 13k 16k and 16k in 09 05 and 01 respectively.

Roosters are averaging 18k now, 19k in 2013 and 19k in 2004 as an example

The roosters should be above the panthers and cronulla should be ahead of at least manly IMO. The top 5 is pretty interchangeable. I'd probably differ from what you said but it's almost impossible to say as there are so many factors.

After last year I wouldn't have Cronulla last. Manly or Penrith would never have got 36k to a semi against the Cowboys.

It's a hypothetical of course
There was no Easter Monday clash for the eels in any of the years they made the GF in the 00s
And the Roosters Anzac clash can inflate their average somewhat with dragons fans
Parra have 25000 members in 2017
A lot more then the Roosters have ever had too

Parra Stadium was very restrictive due to its ever-diminishing capacity over the years.

Tigers home game dummie.

Guess you were too busy watching AwFuL
No I was watching a lot of Parra fans in a shit stadium. It was a charity day after all so you should just be thankful for their charity for those less fortunate. I don't share your obsession with VFL. It's only Sydney folk who seem to love it so much they can't go five minutes without talking about it. We don't have that shit here.

Gee you reallly are a excruciating shit human being aren't you. I was at the game , and I reckon it was about 60/40 our way with an equal split being the lowest I'll go. Not bad for a team coming 2nd last

Thank god for teams like the TIGERS holding the crowd averages together

Utter bullshit. They must have been hiding pretty well because it was wall to wall blue and gold on the TV. It's clubs like the Tigers ripping the game off millions every year and putting nothing back in, relying on away fans and playing shit football and then still putting their hand out for more money. But we're supposed to bend down and thank them for getting one decent crowd because it was technically their home game even though it was all Parra fans and a highly publicised charity game on the back of high profile deaths of two young blokes. The rest of their crowds are thousands below the NRL average despite all the away fans.
