the NSW govt won't build ANZ that small for fear of losing GF's to other states

You miss the point. You don't build a stadium based on the maximum possible crowd you might get 2 - 4 times per year. Adelaide Oval's 53k is too small for 2 x showdowns and and Crows finals. MCG could sell 150k tickets for today. Anzac Day or a GF. You build a stadium that is going to be 50 - 75% full every week.
Limited capacity increases demand, and may start to change the culture as the atmosphere will be sensational

Sorry you are right. My bad. 15k is a good 50% increase from a low base in 2016.
Had assumed other clubs would have done better but kudos to Easts.

Wow, I'd rather people gave enough of a sht to get off their backsides and get down to the stadium to cheer their team on. I guess you consider NFL, epl and the other popular sports comps around the world cults too? What's the opposite of a cult,
