No rugby league fan on the planet thought it was a try now, and right now the only ones who think it should have been a try are a portion of panthers fans.

I agree that the rule book is too vague to deal with the situation, and that tied the bunker's hands into making a dumb call.

The on field ref should have called it a knock on in play and no one would have argued

I don't really get this arguement. The ref had every opportunity to call it a knock on but he didn't think it was.... so if there was no bunker, it would of been a try anyway. Is it a dumb call because you disagree with it? Would it be crazy to think the referee standing 5 metres away from the incident actually had an opinion and thought it was a try rather then just had a random guess?

Archers backed him up, bill Harrigan as well. They must be panther fans too??

Not a high quality game, but won by the better team. Manly were simply outplayed for the majority of the game.

Byrce Cartwright completely changed the way Penrith played. He was MOM from the moment he walked on the field. I was pissed Griffin even gave him a break. Brandy mentioned on Fox Sports in the pre-game that Penrith had to be smarter to avoid being destroyed by Manly's pack. Bryce single-handedly outwitted the bastards from Manly. Very impressive.

Very disappointing to see Cherry-Evans having a whinge after the game. He could have saved his tears for the dressing room like Big Jake did.

In Round 10 we were down 28-6 at halftime having won 2 out of our opening 9 games.

We looked more likely to be battling for a spoon then a top 8 spot. We are just happy to get finals experience into our young roster.

Losing to Broncos or Storm doesnt change much... theres no way they make the grand final.

The annoying part about all this arguing is no one whether it be fans or media are talking about the quality game both teams put on. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the ground as did my partner and daughter.

Last night's DT gave the match nothing except the Peach try.

Yes. Some of us take a different view. We were shit all year bar one game against the chooks.

The side were bereft of attack and today was always on the cards.

Good on the cowboys. They played with more passion, heart and skill.

Refs always screw stuff up, the great sides adapt to it, we didn't so suck a big one Sharkies
