And to think at some stages of the season people were thinking they would go back to back. The Sharks have been very hit and miss this season but nothing takes away from the fact they were premiers.

Worried for Parra next week. That win is a massive character builder for the Cowpats. Parra will be given a big old favourites tag too which they don't always handle well

I think the biggest problem for the Cowboys will be fatigue. They just played a very tough 90 minute game. They have to travel back to Townsville, then back down to Sydney and have one day less recovery than the Eels.

Such a shame that this live game discussion to me was ruined by such blatant whinging about the referees. Blind hatred makes people delusional and insane. It was a classic finals battle and all people can do is bitch and whine about referees who remember can't happen without them. I thought they did a fair job besides the Tamoulolo decision but you can't say it lost the Sharks the game.

The only obvious one was the sideways play the ball from Cowboys player which should have been called up, other than that Congrats to Cows fans. Incredible when you consider that TMM did nothing all game and probably doesn't need to. He's a passenger which makes it even more incredible.

Feel like Cronulla rolled the dice too many times with the ref and it ultimately backfired. Prior had his hand on the ball when a Cows player was playing it right in front of the posts which was dangerous, so I wasn't surprised to see him involved in the strip for the penalty.

Great win from the Cowboys. I didn't really give them a chance coming into this game but they were great. I'm glad the Sharks are out, thought they were a real chance at going back to back
