Wow. KIA absolutely dominated that jersey. "Just slap our massive sticker right on top of the jersey design. Leave all that white space down the bottom."

Awful.

exactly the same as last year's kit with Jaycar... slapped there (albeit blue), then all white space below it.

Dragons jersey is also the same?

Yeah not a fan of the KIA logo but it could be worse. Red is a good colour to go with blue and white but thats way too big. Makes it look like a local comp jersey.

I'll side with Tim here and say its not that bad. I much prefer a large primary sponsor with no other sponsors than the clutter we have on most jerseys these days. For the most part, its a clean design that still achieves a lot of exposure for the sponsor.

So there won't be any "chest" sponsor like some clubs are doing these days?

I don't begrudge clubs being given essentially free money, so go for it IMO.

If I'm KIA I love how much this dominates the jersey, it is the first thing you identify, the Bulldogs comes a distant 2nd in terms of recognition.

I can only go off the pictures but it doesn't look like they are going with a sponsor in the middle chest. The Kia logo wouldn't be any bigger than is allowed though the logo is higher than most which makes it more dominant.

This looks smooth as f**k. Dogs however, there is zero effort to integrate the Kia sponsor. It's just a big Kia jersey.

Thats a great example of sponorship integration and brand name compatibility

Im sure its not any bigger, but its colouring and position make it dominate the jersey.

I note the Dragons jersey image doesn't have a chest sponsor either, so maybe its still possible/likely?

It achieves a lot of exposure because that now seems like the main focus to me. It's just a huge white blob on the jersey. It just looks like a sticker slapped on

What did they do to the Red V? They've straightened the parts of the V that are on the shoulders. It's not a V anymore.

The red lanyard doesn't have the same ring to it.

Definitely the case for the away jersey but the home and heritage ones don't look too bad imo.

What is the jersey Tolman is in, 20's??

The great thing about the dragons jersey now (from a sponsor point of view) is that the V acts as an arrow pointing your vision towards the sponsor.

They did that a few years back when they first took the red past the collar bone. Definitely better than having it cut off below the shoulder...

The big difference this year is that they have sharpened the angle of the V to make it fit above the sponsor, so the difference in angle between the chest and shoulder is now more pronounced.
