Neither was Xmen but they got Wolverine in previously

Marvel are putting up a strong wall to any of their properties to which they do not own the film rights such as Xmen or Fantastic Four. The emphasis these jerseys have on their movies and characters I think is a reflection of this. As a big xmen fan I'm disappointed to not see at least a wolverine jersey (he would suit the Eels perfectly.)

However the club colours and character choices are all great.

Do Marvel pay anything for this or do the NRL pay Marvel for the use and hope to make the money in merch sales?

Rocket is very popular (especially with GOTG 2 coming out this year), and the Falcon character plays an important role in the Avengers and as Cap's offsider.

Rather than being directly associated with the films, this promotion is based on the Marvel online game.

Cant say I'm a fan of Macron's football shirts, will be interesting to see what they can do for League.

They released some nice Leeds United kits. Quality of the shirt itself was my issue with them

Check out the Broncos WCC jerseys, they should have made that there primary home jersey!!

Not sure what to think of us doing a Marvel-themed jersey. Esp a Thor one. Would've preferred us to stay DC-themed & have s'thing connected with Justice League, moreso Batman again...

And yes, that Broncos jersey looks like an actual Brisbane jersey, not some of the other ordinary efforts they've used in previous seasons

Makes sense for the NRL/ISC to get in to bed with Marvel. LEt's face it.. they shit all over DC. Although I have the Storm Superman shirt and love it.

Crossing my fingers in hope a Dark Knight jersey shows up on ebay.

Yeah just 2 games in his years WCC, I have been looking for this Broncos jersey because I really want one, as yet can't find it
