We got rated the 3rd best match day experience for sport in Australia I think it was.

Not puzzling at all. Like I said, have members in Perth, Cairns, NZ with great followings. Plus in general QLD too.

Plus international members too.

You will find at away matches Souths have a strong following.

Friday Nights aren't family friendly. Ask Carcharias, he knows.

I remember a couple of years ago Pat Cash was on the Rush Hour with Dan Ginnane. Dan asked him if he had an NRL team and he said no. They had a Souths Board member (i think John Lee) call up and say they were sending him a Souths Membership so he could adopt them as his team. Cash politely declined and said he couldnt be bought. It was absolutely hilarious, I think he actually ended up being a Roosters fan. Funny thing is Souths probably still claim him as a member.

Again Camparing to fumbleball don't the fumblers have there own forum why dont you just go to that. Who cares what FumbleLand do

It was you who brought up Perth Membership numbers! Sorry to Point out that compared to other sports clubs in similiar populations and situations Broncos are nothing special, but that is the reality. Apologies the truth is distasteful to you.

What has me mentioning Perth have to do with fumbleBall. They also have a soccer union team it's you that brings up fumble ball all the time

Apples and apples. Biggest clubs in the respective cities heartlands in similiar populations in similiar status situations within their respective codes.

So which "Perth team" were you thinking of when you posted your nonsensical comment?
But if it makes you feel warm and cosy, yes the broncos have a much bigger membership that the west coast fever and are doing an outstanding job on fan engagement based on this.

Have to say I was very impressed with game day activities, especially being given free tickets at tne gate lol, when I've been to Souths games in Sydney, just shame the stadium lets it down and kills any hope of an atmosphere. They do try hard to make it enjoyable but being in a 85k stadium with 15k people kills the experience. Hopefully they may also use the new western Sydney stadium in the future.
I can't see Souths moving from ANZ.

They'll be there for many more years.

I didn't like John Lee. He caused trouble behind the scenes. I'm glad he went.

Good old Richo is back. Magnificent he's been for us. He's just cleared out some of the trash to after last season.

Have you seen the Souths membership ad???? It's pretty good actually. Rusty had a hand in fine tuning it.

It's not trolling when it's true. The north of England has to be the NRLs biggest overseas market and not many people know anything about it.
That's a huge failing on the NRLs part, granted
Rusty has tried to spread the good word but your dellusional if you think Souths or any other NRL side is at all relevant outside of Aus/NZ.
The NRL should be giving the TV rights free to Sky UK for a few years, I'm sure all clubs would reep the rewards long term.

Absolutely, it needs to be on sky sports or Bt sport which has turned into a legitimate challenger with a growing portfolio. having it stuck on the likes of premier sports serves no purpose at all

BT sport haS/had the A League. The friging A league has a wider audience than the NRL FFS.
