Nrl - 23? I only counted 18 assuming last 6 rounds all have Thurs.
A league has heaps. They always have make up games, ffa cup, champions league plus other shit on. Plus over the Christmas period. Id happily bet their teams play more midweek games than our 18 and I'd prefer Thurs over Tues and what ever else they play.

I assume tests have always played midweek? Could hardly blame that on falling attendances. Big bash seems to do ok midweek.

im including the Ron Masey cup aren't i ?
which is about the equivalent

id bet the A league play almost no games during the week other then the times indicated .. just like the AFL not playing heaps

and the BBL is played during the school Holidays

and test crowds are usually shit during the week
& okish on weekends
again

Which NRL teams play in the Ron Massey cup?

So its not 18 nrl games, its actually only 14 because the 4 in achool holidays don't count?

14 v 8. I thought qe were the only code that does it?

Sydney FC have already have 6 midweek games and have 2 more Thursday nights schedueled. I assume the other 9 clubs would be similar.

Fridays I mean , & all Fridays

cos i make it 4 midweek games if youre not for Sydney FC
& 2 of them were/ are public holidays
& another 1 in the xmas school break

Cricket is hardly a good example tests last 5 days for gods sake.

No they don't play Monday to Friday, but they don't maximise their crowds either. Tests typically start on a Thursday, there are now more 3 and 4 day tests than ever. A 3 day test ends on a Saturday, many many tests now have the result all but decided by the start of the 4 day which is a Sunday.

they always include the weekend in test matches in the scheduled 5 days
these days attended by considerably more people then the weekday sessions if they are the first 2 days of the test which happens occasionally depending on wether its the boxing day or new years test
some start on Fridays too

because its F'ing stupid & asking for your fans to decide to " not " want to attend because its a hassle
we're not after a perfect schedule , just a more common sense one & if you are seriously saying 8pm on a Thursday is no less attractive to the average fan then 3pm on a Sunday

then seek help !!

we;ve been arguing the validity of that point for the last page
a handful of midweek rounds for the a league , most on or around the xmas & new years public hoiidays
& a hand ful of games for the AFL , yeah thats the same as having your schedule dominated by stupid midweek times
Thursdays
& 6pm Fridays
again
we're the only code that does this

The NBL has a weekly Thursday AND Monday fixture. Eagerly awaiting dave to tell me they don't and/or it doesn't matter because it's the NBL.
