Dave is right, RL is the only code to do multiple games midweek each week of the year. A few others put a game or two on around holidays in the summer months or the fumbles with a game or two with a public holiday the next day.

It might change now that new tv deals are done but the bullshit in here is just that, bullshit. Mondays Thursdays and Fridays, yeah, I can see all the codes every week on all those nights cant I?

Dave is not right.

The NRL only did multiple mid week games each week for 1 season as a compromise for the TV stations. This year they will only be doing the 1 mid week game per week unless you want to count Friday as mid week which I doubt Dave does as that will further limit his comparison.

Dave has been shown time and again that multiple sports play regular mid week games in Australia, yet each and every one of them has been discounted for reasons ranging from the frequency to the fact he doesn't care about the sport so it doesn't matter.

Afl plays on athursday when the following Day is a holiday, stop your afl propaganda.
A league plays midweek to catch up if need be, they sometimes play when a holiday is held the following day which is usually in the school holidays, not in the middle of winter with school the next day.

Super union does the same thing but with an earlier start in late summer during school holidays, if they play again during the season on a Thursday, you can bet your balls it's a holiday the next day.

The NRL plays on a school night at least once a week and has for a decade just with Monday night footy, as I said, stop talking crap.
