Huge story in today's Telegraph newspaper on club memberships.

Back page headline "Fan Figures hit the roof". Goes on to mention each clubs figures like the updates we have here..

They also mentioned ticket sales for the first round are up 60 percent on last season. Good news alround.

I don't have a comparison date that's near today's for last year, so I've jumped ahead a week - the figures are currently being compared to 2 March last season, so last year's figures have about a week on this year's.

Overall the total is 13k (and eight days) ahead of last year, with (you'd imagine) plenty of ground to be covered over the next seven days. So hopefully by kickoff we'll be back to the 30k margin we've had on comparative dates.

Anyway here's the count at 7:30pm tonight:

With in a few weeks (2 march) most clubs should surpass their 2016 total.
Won't surpass - Rabbitohs
Possible - Dragons , Warriors, Panthers ,Cowboys .
Highly probable - SeaEagles , Bulldogs, Eels (bee's dick away)
Have already - Titans , Storm, Raiders, Tigers, Roosters, Sharks , broncos, Knights .

It will be a pretty good result of 12/16 teams are a head of last season's membership marks by kickoff time.

Imagine the Tigers numbers if we actually had a top 4 finish for once

Doubled our membership after a pretty average year

Correction, doubled your membership after cutting out the deadwood*.

*deadwood = Wobbie

I'm not so sure if moving him on has brought the members on board, a lot of Tigers fans including myself would rather him still be in the team provided its for his on field performances and not his off field dribble as I still believe he has a bit more to offer in the NRL

Nonetheless double the growth is fantastic so must be doing something right

i think the consensus is the Broncos should be at 40K regardless
they were just on 37,000 in 2016
& appear to be tracking ahead of last years figure for 2017 , so I think they'll hit 40,000 this year anyway

Yeah we should be fine to hit the 40k. I wish there was membership breakdowns, keep it transparent - let us all know how many are ticketed.
