By sending our top teams over there it might spark more interest for the NRL in the UK.
Q1. Is the Nrl broadcasted in the U.K.
Q2. Is there much interest in the UK for the NRL
I personally don't beleive its neccesary for any other teams to go anyway. It should simply be the NRL champs vs the Super LEague champs. The world club series was pointless to start with. If I was in charge of the Storm I woudn't go either
More interest than your fumbleball has and that's all you need to know. As for the wcc it should only be between the two gf winners. If they want something else, open up the so called challenge cup for all pro clubs. POM's wouldn't want that though as it's about the only trophy they can win well until the French steal it anyway.A2: I doubt it, they don't like our playing style much. Especially Storms.
Melbourne concentrate on doing the job the NRL sent them to do, win supporters where people don't give a shit about the game,
Why don't english teams come over here and play?
send the champions then
Sharks
Cutters
Roosters 20s
I get that but we have international comps...why do we need this?Wigan did that and got f**king spanked
Every English team that comes here gets spanked
WCC games are only competitive if they're scheduled in round 3 of the English competition so they can get warmed up and the Aussie teams go over there with no preparation and play jet lagged. That's hard to achieve if the games are played in Australia
Is this broken f**ken record still going? FFS Boon, have a Kit Kat brother.
Hey t-bone would you hate the Storm so much if they weren't successful do you think? Would you still be constantly dribbling on about their "style" if they were just a another run of the mill club hanging around outside of the 8 most years?
The Tigers v Dragons in Hawai pre season.
Hawai is obviously an American Football state but their college team sux pretty badly (dropped out of PAC 12 conference this year because they just aren't competitive) and Hawaiian's might be looking for another code to get behind.
Great job NRL and the two clubs on this initiative. It is terrific to see clubs taking Rugby League to places to promote the game. This should be a regular thing maybe - even a regular season game. The NRL should split the 400k that was going to go to the Storm for the WCC game between these clubs in addition to what they are already getting.
If my team were playing I would be heading over. Winning idea.
The Storm just keep giving me more material. Blame them.
Quotes his own post, and tells us how good it is.... Go you.

I'd still hate them just as much but I would dribble on about it less because I would care less if their style wasn't so successful. The big problem with them being successful for ten years is every other club has adopted many of their dog methods so the whole game is infested.
I'd actually like Storm if they played attractive football and otherwise got off their arse and tried to promote the game in a positive light. I tend to like the expansion clubs.
I am a positive guy.
