If a club is in financial strife, is it not fair to suggest an indifferent fanbase is partly to blame? Manly have been very successful on field in the last 10 years yet here they stand on deaths door having to take home games to other stadiums to make some coin

Mate, in my line of work I have had to deal with more than my fair share of "Trust fund babies".

The self entitled smugness of these people and the arrogant demenour of them is incredible.

This is why teams must get a bye for Origin. Especially the Broncos, Cowboys, Sharks, Roosters and Dogs.

stand alone weekends for Origin every 3 weeks (or NR 2 rounds in between). Teams go into camp on Monday and play on the Sunday night.

It all bears on experience. Whether Milford will lose his nerve or not remains to be seen. But a couple of dry reaches in the dressing room will fix that up.

Lots of newbie performers I'm looking forward to with Milford,Peats,Trbojevic.

The Qld forward pack is a more experience hard nosed mob which has been through this before.

I do expect the Qld side to get up in this one by 8 being the home ground which is worth 2 or 3 tries in itself.

We've seen at all before since 1980,Qld come out and screw us in the first game,and we end up playing catch up whilst between the next two games,NEWS ltd,Foxsports and every man and his dog will have one big mass-debate in what went wrong and who should have been or out of the squad.

Rinse and repeat for the next 50 long years.
