I reckon Queensland to score first, but Blues will win by 8.

Just checked sportsbet. reckon I'll put my money where my mouth is:
QLD to score first, NSW to win 7-12: $14.75

Jarryd Hayne hasn't lost an Origin game in Sydney since 2010 and the Blues haven't lost a second game there since 2009. NSW will also be looking to improve on the recent record in Sydney as well.

Given what has happened in the past NSW can never be classed as favourites in SOO - Queensland has an uncanny ability to pull a win out of its arse.
I have faith in the NSW team to do the job but I won't celebrate a win until the 80th minute.

Big call. Too bad a lot of ppl weren't around when players actually played the sport.

But of course you have the NEWS Ltd mob spreading this claim. Good footballer, but nowhere near the greatest.

Its not far fetched at all, but I shall say "one of"

He was consistently in the top 3 fullbacks every year if not the best, excluding when he was out for the 2 years

I think we'll get them tonight. NSW will know perfectly well they are no chance up there on Qld's shitheap in a deciding game, in Thurston and Cronk's rep farewell.

If we defend well again, we've got enough points in that side to grab the win.

The NSW selectors finally worked out the key to success... install a captain with a bum chin.

Young bum chin >>> old bum chin.

Clean sweep on the cards to tarnish the legacy.

This game is must win for both sides.

No way NSW win Game 3 in Queensland if we cant win Game 2 in NSW. QLD have a much better side now too. There's talk that NSW have ended dominance and started our own etc. yet nothing has been done yet. It just fires up Queensland. We should shut the f**k up and talk shit IF we win. Not give them motivation to beat us.

Queensland love this shit.

This will be the making of Tedesco MOTM by far. all this fifita hayne and klemmer talk has let teddy fly completely under the radar and he's found his feet at this level now after game 1, he knows he belongs.

I disagree. NSW could play well tonight but still get beaten. Provided they play well in Game 3, they're a good chance.

Under imo. I can't see this being a blow out like last game

A 14-10 scoreline or something similar seems a likely outcome to me
fingers crossed they get that extra try so i hit my over hehe :) with thurston and slater back..i think qld will put up more points. with any luck (and from indications by nsw team) they want a more attacking approach. i guess it will also come down to how the game is reffed.

The courier mail is comedy gold. They've gone on about Andrew Fifita being a cheater who deliberately plays the ball incorrectly and that the referees ignore this on purpose. Tallis has jumped onto this as well.

Such quality journalism
They all do it and the refs allow it. Not too mention walking off the mark when playing the ball.
