It doesn't help. But Blair and Thaiday look like they are on their last legs, and even with McCullough taking a good chunk of the workload, I think they are going to struggle with the pace of finals football

Cracking game. As a neutral, I didn't mind who won and I watch games through a ref's eyes but I saw so many turning points right up until the last play of the game.

The Goosters were all over them but the Donkeys kept finding a way to stay close.

Well done both teams.

P.S. The refs were terrific. If either team made as few mistakes as them, they would have lapped the other mob.

It's called no mccuulloch

He makes 50 tackles a game and plays a crucial role in our line speed, his loss is more significant than any other injuries we have going on at the moment, Ben Hunt adds creativity but that's it unfortunately

How about the absolute bath that Boyd Cordner gave Gillett?

Forgetting that moment where he forgot how to run he absolutely dominated that game.

His runs are legendary.

The man just loves bitch slapping pretenders to the throne of the "best 2nd rower" title.

I have said for a while now that the only way we compete with Melbourne is if the refs give us the rub, we just don't have the pack to get field position, I see us winning next week (against whoever it is) but the following week will be our elimination from the comp

It would be have to be more than the rub, it would have to be full french plus happy ending, and no guarantee that would be enough.

Brisbane just never gave themselves a shot. The most frustrating thing about the performance is that the Roosters almost committed one of the biggest chokes in final history but in all honesty the Broncos didn't deserve to win. Just far too many disruptions to the team and the ball just wasn't finding the right players when it needed to.

In a poor performance, I was really impressed with Josh McGuire. He was like a one man army in our forward pack who were otherwise disappointing.

Strange game, entertaining...but not exactly high-quality.

He should point this out to them during their meeting.
