Penrith were the first team in history to keep the Dragons scoreless at Kogarah. Let's do it again!

A very rainy day that was forby.Although the forecast is for up to 20mm of rain on Saturday, the Dragons will be vengeful for that embarrassing show-up.

But we should have far too much class for them.

Do tries from kicks count in this game?

If McGregor doesn't take a punt on a rookie instead of McCrone he's pretty much given up the ghost.

Nene Macdonald to make an early linebreak and score before Mary sends out the message to only go to nightingale for the rest of the game. Just because

Panthers by the length of the dole queue in the Riff.

32-8

in 2016,the Penrith District was the 10th lowest for unemployment in the entire country.

In this link below, amuse yourself to which areas compare in as far as the length of dole queues are concerned.

You'll probably have to zoom in a bit on the table of suburbs/regions in that article.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the bottom 15 regions are providing the dole for the rest of the country.

Especially up far north.

Dragons were in fact favourites to win this match last year, immediately after the Panthers had exposed the Broncos. The markets got it right that time but things have changed. Dragons are now $3.00 and blowing. Doesn't mean it won't be a tough forward struggle, but the Panthers with far too many weapons in the backline on this occasion. Could rack up a score in the second half if its dry and the passes stick.

If it's raining a close struggle will be had. The Dragons just love to wallow in the slop.

Funny how it feels (to me) like a finals build-up for this 1st round.

Must be the anticipation factor.

Watch out Pennies. Tim Lafai is primed for 2 tackle busts to go with his 8 missed tackles and 4 errors. #Lafaitforyourighttoparty

I feel a little nervous about the pre season and Penrith being one of the favourites. I still remember that loss to the Dragons in Round 1 last year but we've improved out of sight since then, in contrast to the Dragons who seem allergic to improvement, demonstrated by the fact that Paul McGregor is still employed.

I think we'll win but it won't be a cakewalk away from home and in a Round 1 game.
