It will be 10 pages by the time game day comes. Alot of history and rivalry between these clubs.

Game of the round IMO. The Tigers are due a game where they win when they are not expect to and the Dragons are due to lose a game which they are expected to win.

Some people seem to forget this

Apart from Cronulla I guess we are probably next in line for your rivals. Both merger teams, played in 2 of the best RL games I've ever seen (PF finals) and a ton of classic encounters over the years

But yeah because we're doing poorly we aren't allowed to support our team lol

I would've given us a chance if Brooks was playing but with a halves combo of Lolohea/Littlejohn I jus can't see it happening

I feel your pain. I remember the game last season when we played and Saints scored the 1st try. I turned to a tigers supporting mate and said "that's it we're done for the arvo", then Brooks cut loose and tore us apart.

We have also had many absolutely shocking contests too, Remember the SCG game a few seasons back?

The thing that annoys me most about being a rugby league supporter is being told how to support my team.

To me, what makes a game against the Tigers so special is the history between the clubs and the friends I have that support them, also the banter spices it up as well.

I would have agreed until I saw the Dragons draw. Holy moly they basically alternate between the Knights, Tigers, Bulldogs and Titans for the rest of the year.

That in tandem with the Roosters getting butchered by the draw around Origin - two games without 5 players - will see the Dragons finish top 4.

It could also be at the expense of the Broncos if they endure their traditional Origin and post Origin slump. Or the Sharks as its not uncommon for the Premiers to fade towards the end.

So I predict the Dragons to finish top 4 ahead of one of those 3; most likely Roosters.

Seriously though, check out the Dragons draw. Dousty must have done it!

Tigers HOME
Bulldogs AWAY
Eels AWAY
Knights HOME
Titans AWAY
Raiders AWAY
Sea Eagles HOME
Knights AWAY
Rabbits HOME
Titans HOME
Broncos AWAY
Panthers AWAY
Bulldogs HOME

Never seen a cushy draw like that. Maybe Raiders last year which explained their run.
Like the WWE 'attitude' era we are in the NRL 'soft competition' era. Just ask Gus.

despite the result, the 2010 PF is one of the best games of rugby league ive ever seen. ts probably the highest quality and intense game of the last decade, especially considering what was at stake

I was at the game. Was electric. I still weirdly watch the game from time to time in a what if type scenario lol

Iirc we dominated majority of that game and went in as huge underdogs. I felt we were the better team but lost, just ran out of gas in the end.

Think we should've got a penalty on knees to lotes back which could've won us the game

Us by a comfortable 13+ off the back of our forward pack. Whilst we have McCrone(defence good but kicking is less than ordinary) at half I am certain he is cancelled out by Edwards, Lovett etc. Definitely some derp in both sides though.

Both teams were better than the Roosters that year and yet we still eerily had the wood on the Tigers so I was desperately hoping they'd win.

I knew we couldn't beat the Dragons who were just a match up nightmare for us.

You don't play as well as the tigers did that night and lose very often. It was a great game and a huge effort from all 34 players

That game was probably the most tense I've ever felt at any game. From the last scrum to the end of the game was so intense that when after Galloway made the break and Ryan kicked the ball I closed my eyes and had visions of the ball bouncing at a crazy angle, wrongfooting Boyd and landing comfortably into Fitzhenry's arms to go under the posts for the match winning try.

The roar I heard on level 4 and the Dragon army below was the sign that the kick was cleaned up and I breathed a huge sigh of relief. After the mental scars of not being able to make a grand final in the recent years before that, I had to just breathe and take in the enormity that we would be in a grand final.

Walking out of the stadium and the trip home was a blur as I still couldn't believe that in a week I'd be going to a grand final and was a very good chance at finally seeing my team win a premiership.

Tigers up by 6 early in the game & I am thinking 2005 all over again. With 2009 added to that the relief when Boyd carried the Ryan kick over the sideline was immense.

Thank god for a specially gifted beau Ryan for you guys. If he takes the tackle in field we are about 30m out with a chance of a fg, or to even set up for a try
