Right now Manly would walk over Penrith with or without DCE. Our team will start getting the 'shakes' as soon as the first penalty is blown Manly's way.

I don't think so. Manly have a better fullback, centre, halves, lock, props and hooker.
Your wingers are better, maybe the 2nd rowers also.
This is assuming DCE plays.

Manly's forwards have just really stepped us this year. We have gone out and bought big name players like Merrin (who has been good at times albeit) and Tamou while Manly's largely unheralded pack is outperforming them.

This game will be lucky to draw 7000 given Manly fans don't travel and Penrith were an utter embarrassment last game.

Panthers to bounce back, but not sure if it will be enough. Manly are going good.

I'm not confident. Our forwards just aren't doing the job and we don't play the full 80.
I don't think you're the lone ranger there.... Why would any Panthers fan be confident against a top 4 side at the moment? You got towelled up by a team running 14th going in to yesterday's game and I don't think you've beaten a top 8 side all year...

With it appearing that DCE will be snubbed I'd get in quick on the best bet of the year - Manly @ $2.14 with Sportsbet to win or even $5 to win 13+.

Jake Trbojevic is a big loss for them though. It'll be up to Taupau to make all the metres!!!

I'll probably regret it but I am on Penrith at home for the bounce back factor!!!!

You guys will bounce back.

They don't have Sironen or J. Trbojevic!!!!

Besides Taupau all their metres would have to come from their back 5.

Manly 13+ even if DCE is moved. The second one bad decision goes against Panthers, or they make a mistake they will put their heads down and be waiting on Sea Eagles to give them momentum back.

Our backs will try hard to make something happen. But without field position it will not be enough. Tamou and Merrin will collect their big fat $800k a season while doing SFA when asked to defend.

haha bullshit

AFB averages over a 100 metres a game from the bench and Lussick was first game back from suspension/injury so will get through a lot more work next game. BJ has a dig every game too.

Jake T is a big loss, but to say none of the other forwards will get metres, besides Taupau is ridiculous.

I'd be surprised if anyone was. You are right we haven't beaten a top 8 team this year so I don't see us starting now all if a sudden.
